1. Acceptance
By using Mitti ("Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, please stop using the Service. Mitti is operated by an individual proprietor based in India.
2. Service Description
Mitti provides an AI-powered document generation tool that helps Indian freelancers and agencies create proposals, contracts, NDAs, Statements of Work, retainer agreements, invoices, and follow-up emails.
3. Account and Usage
- No account is required for Free tier usage.
- Usage is tracked via an anonymous browser identifier stored in your browser's local storage.
- Free tier: 3 AI-generated documents per calendar month.
- Pro and Agency plans: Unlimited documents subject to fair use.
4. AI-Generated Content
Documents generated by Mitti are created by AI (Claude by Anthropic, Groq, or Google Gemini) and are provided as a starting point only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before using it in any professional or legal context.
Mitti does not guarantee the legal validity or completeness of any generated document. For significant contracts or legal matters, consult a qualified Indian legal professional.
5. Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed via Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorise Razorpay to charge your selected payment method. Subscriptions are monthly and automatically renew unless cancelled.
6. Intellectual Property
The Mitti platform, brand, and underlying code are owned by the operator. Documents you generate using your own data are yours to use freely.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Mitti is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

1. What We Collect
- Email addresses — if you join the waitlist or contact us.
- Usage data — number of documents generated, plan type, anonymous browser fingerprint (UUID stored in your browser). We do NOT collect your name, IP address, or any personally identifiable information without your consent.
- Payment data — processed entirely by Razorpay. We store only plan type and payment confirmation ID, not card or bank details.
- Form content — the text you enter to generate documents is sent to third-party AI APIs (Anthropic, Groq, Google). It is not stored on our servers after processing.
2. How We Use It
- Usage tracking to enforce free tier limits and upgrade plans
- Email addresses to send product updates (waitlist subscribers only)
- Aggregate analytics to improve the product

4. Data Retention
Usage records are kept for 13 months (to cover yearly comparisons), then deleted. Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. You can request deletion by emailing hello@mitti.in.
5. Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP) 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data. Contact hello@mitti.in to exercise these rights.
6. Cookies
Mitti does not use cookies. We use browser localStorage for the anonymous usage fingerprint only.

Refund Policy
We want you to be happy with Mitti. Our refund policy is straightforward:
7-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you subscribe to Pro or Agency and are not satisfied within 7 days of your first payment, email us at hello@mitti.in with your payment ID and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked.
After 7 Days
After 7 days, subscriptions are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time to stop future charges — your access continues until the end of the billing period.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method via Razorpay.
